The Bay Breeze Motel located directly on Florida Bay, provides spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico from sunrise to sunset. Enjoy the seclusion and intimacy of our resort-motel situated on a three-acre private homestead including 500 ft. of waterfront.

The beautiful surroundings frequently attract osprey and other wild birds. Our dock will provide enjoyment for those who want to catch a snapper or two and even shrimp. Just minutes after launching your boat from our ramp, you can be exploring the beautiful coral reefs or heading offshore for a day of sportfishing. For those who dive, remember to ask us where to find our "little sunken treasure" just a short swim from the Bay Breeze shoreline. Nearby you’ll find shopping, fine restaurants, cinemas, casino ships, or even swim with dolphins! So whether it’s action or relaxation you’ve found it at Bay Breeze.

We have 2 Caribbean rooms either located directly on the beach or 15 steps away from the beach.  We also have 6 Caribbean Cottages.  Each Cottage has it's own tiki porch with water views or pool views.  Relax with a good book or just sit back and enjoy the tropical breezes!! In addition to our Caribbean rooms & Cottages, we have 8 large Efficiency Apartments, the majority of these rooms also offer waterviews or pool views!!

The Heron Room is one room with a queen size bed. It has a bar size refrigerator and sink with a cook top stove. It has color cable television, air conditioning and telephone. The Heron Room does not command a view of the water, but is only 50' from our private beach. It is a non-smoking unit.

All units have kitchens to offer you the opportunity to cook your catch or barbecue at our waterfront tiki hut.

Largest Private Beach in Tavernier, Free Dockage and Boat Ramp, Free use of our Rowboat and Paddle Boats, Cable TV and Movie Rentals.

All rates are based on double occupancy. Extra persons 18 yrs. and up $25 each, under 18 yrs. $10 each.  Rates subject to change without notice.  7 day minimum stays are required for Christmas holidays.  Maximum occupancy 2 persons per bed per unit.  Guests allowed 2 visitors per day.  They must register at the front office and there will be a $25 charge per person. 

Sorry, no pets allowed.  Minimum stays required on all weekends, holidays and special events.  

Cancellation policy: $25 handling fee imposed.  Cancellation policy is 30 days, with a 50% deposit required.  This deposit will be non-refundable.  There are no refunds for early departure.
