THE ELBOW

A combination of wrecks and reefs make up this popular diving area. FLORIDA KEYS

The anchor chain. 25 to 35 feet. An abandoned anchor chain and concrete mooring block from the original buoy marking the Elbow Reef area, can be found here in 25 feet of water. Good visibility and abundant fish and coral make this a favorite diving site. FLORIDA KEYS

The Train Wheel. 20 to 30 feet. This wreck was once a supply barge carrying train wheels for the Flagler railroad. Huge formations of Elkhorn coral shelter schools of Goatfish, Snapper and Porkfish. FLORIDA KEYS

The Fingers. 25 to 35 feet. Visit this classic spur and groove reef formation. Clear sand bottomed channels follow towering coral walls. Known for exceptional visibility. FLORIDA KEYS

South Ledges. 25 to 35 feet. Towering coral ridges mark this spur and groove reef area. Staghorn, Elkhorn and Star corals provide shelter for a colorful array of marine life. FLORIDA KEYS

Mikes Wreck. 20 to 30 feet. This low profile wreck was once the 300’ long steam freighter TONAWANDA. Sunk around 1920, it is now scattered over a large area providing a haven for a variety of sea creatures. FLORIDA KEYS
